We recently had a new addition to our family – a Siberian Husky.
Life in our home has certainly changed due to this one and half year old pet that my son has adopted. I’m certainly getting more exercise with needing to take her for frequent walks. Better yet, with her energy, she is walking me.
We have only had her for a few weeks, but she already has become a family member. Amazing how quickly we all fell in love with her.
I read a quote the other day about dogs and their personalities that I found interesting.
“A dog reflects the family life. Whoever saw a frisky dog in a gloomy family, or a sad dog in a happy one? Snarling people have snarling dogs, dangerous people have dangerous ones.” – Arthur Conan Doyle
I wondered if there is truth to this statement? As a new dog owner, I went to “Cesar’s Way” website and found this article written by Nicole Pajer that says what your dog’s behavior says about you.
For my romance readers, I’m working on a free chapter-story titled, “Love Amid the Storm,” which will be published on my website shortly. I’m looking forward to sharing with you a new chapter approximately every ten days for your reading enjoyment.
A blizzard forces Kayla to share hotel accommodations with a handsome stranger. The mounting attraction between the two of them has her room-mate, proposing a one-night-stand while they ride out the storm. Kayla must decide whether she will surrender to the tempting stranger, but also, whether she will be able to survive walking away when the storm ends.
Always glad to hear from you, so feel free to leave me your comments. :-)
For those of you readers who still love the feel of a book in your hands, the smell of the pages, and seeing the book cover to cover, my books, “The Alkahest” and “The Sussex Deal” are now both available in trade-paperback.
This is an exciting time for me; being a lover of hard copies, I was excited to receive a printed copy of my books.
Both stories are available through Amazon, and Kobo.
Another year has passed, and now I’m looking forward to focusing on 2014 and the wonderful things it will bring into my life.
This year, I plan to publish three books. I’m excited to be working on book two of the Thoughtmover series that will be released in the fall of 2014. I’m working on a romance novel as well and the release of the prequel to The Alkahest, book one of the Thoughtmover series titled, The Master’s Arcanum.
I want to thank my web-designer for his great job in 2013, and I’m looking forward to another year of working together with him on my website and cover designs.
Other thanks goes to my husband who continually supports me in my writing, a special man that I am blessed to have in my life.
And more thanks are extended to you, my readers who make it possible for me to live my dream of writing and bring you enjoyment in the process. To all of you, have a happy and triumphant New Year!
“Approach the New Year with resolve to find the opportunities hidden in each new day.” – Michael Josephson
